Somerfield stores Ltd, the retail supermarket, owners of the Somerfield and Kwik Save brand, invested in the conversion of their Oracle database warehouse strategy to one involving IBM DB2 UDB, Websphere and Business Intelligence products.

Using a large general application from CAPS Solutions Ltd called UNI-Form, they are able to manage a variety of council activities including: Development Control and Planning, Development Monitoring, Licensing, Building Control, Land Charges and Land Registry, and many more...

Dynastream were able to aid them in support of their UNI-Form application modules, and the migration of department users onto the Contaminated Land and HMO (Housing in Multiple Occupancy) Licensing modules. Dynastream assisted in supervising the implementation of an E2E (End to End) Licensing solution where members of the public are able to view licences online (premises, alcohol, boats etc.), and to apply online for new licences. Online consultee access for external authorities, such as the Hampshire Fire Authority, was also provided.
